IRVING, Texas, Jan. 29, 2019 – HMS Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: HMSY) today announced the appointment of Maria Perrin as chief marketing and strategy officer effective January 14, 2019. In this role, Perrin will lead the marketing and government relations functions at HMS and have principal responsibility for development of the Company’s growth strategy for 2019 and beyond. Perrin has more than 20 years of experience in strategic business development and brand transformation for technology, consumer products and government services companies, including a previous tenure at HMS where she led the government markets and marketing functions from 2007 to 2014.

Perrin will report to Lucia. In addition to her previous position at HMS, Perrin was principal at Gide Public Affairs and senior vice president of business development and marketing for Performant Financial Corp. She also has held strategic planning and operational leadership roles at Bestfoods, Nissan Motor Corp. and other Fortune 100 firms.
